Constructed with premium OM4 Multimode fiber and a Plenum-rated (OFNP) outer jacket, this harness ensures both superior high-speed data transmission and the highest level of fire safety compliance for indoor installations. Each assembly is precision-terminated to achieve an ultra-low insertion loss of ≤0.35dB, guaranteeing maximum signal integrity for 400G/800G Ethernet and InfiniBand applications.
The Magenta-coded design allows for quick fiber type identification, while the precise fan-out construction from MMC-16 APC (Female) to 8 LC Duplex connectors ensures a seamless transition to standard LC-based hardware. The MMC fiber cable is equipped with an MMC connector, a Very Small Form Factor (VSFF) multi-fiber optical connector designed to terminate single-mode and multimode fiber cables up to 2.5mm in diameter. It employs novel TMT ferrule technology harmonized with the MT/MT-16 alignment structure. Individual connector access in the most extremely dense connector environments is easily accomplished using revolutionary DirectConec™ push-pull boot technology.
The harness aggregates multiple LC duplex connectors into an MMC-16 connector, streamlining infrastructure and helping optimize both space and network reliability. Therefore, MMC connectivity enables solutions that minimize the space required across multiple applications, including structured cabling, high-fiber-count data center interconnects, and high-bandwidth applications.
