The optical fiber terminal box is the terminal joint of an optical cable. One end of it is an optical cable and the other end is a pigtail. It is equivalent to a device that splits an optical cable into a single optical fiber. It is a user optical cable terminal box installed on the wall. Its function is to provide Fiber-to-fiber fusion, fiber-to-pigtail fusion, and optical connector handover. It also provides mechanical and environmental protection for the optical fiber and its components and allows for proper inspection to maintain the highest standards of fiber management.
The equipment is used as a termination point for the feeder cable to connect with drop cable in FTTx communication network system. The fiber splicing, splitting, distribution can be done in this box, and meanwhile it provides solid protection and management for the FTTx network building.
