Features
Ideal for Indoor and Outdoor Cabling
Black UV-resistant LSZH outer jacket and tight-buffered construction enable the cable to be used indoors or outdoors in underground dry/damp conduit (if not prone to flooding).

Breakout Types for Optimizing Cable Routing
Four different breakout configurations meet your various needs. Please note that the breakout length is 0.3m by default instead of 0.5m when the total cable length is not more than 3m.

Precautions for Use
Be sure to read the instruction manual before using this product.
FAQ
Q1. What does "pre-terminated" mean?
This cable assembly is factory-terminated and factory-tested with connectors already installed at both ends. It arrives ready to plug in — no splicing, polishing, or termination tools required on site.
Q2. What are the advantages of pre-terminated assemblies over field termination?
They save 60–70% of installation time, eliminate on-site termination errors, and guarantee consistent, documented performance. Every unit is tested before shipment, making them ideal for building-to-building and entrance facility runs where reliability matters.
Q3. Is this cable suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. It features an indoor/outdoor rated UV-resistant jacket with dry water-blocking, specifically designed for underground conduit installation between buildings and entrance facilities.
Q4. Can this cable be directly buried in the ground?
No. It is designed for installation inside underground conduit/duct. For direct-burial applications, please contact us for our armored direct-burial version.
Q5. What fiber type does this assembly use?
OM2 50/125 μm multimode fiber with 500 MHz·km bandwidth at both 850 nm and 1300 nm, ideal for campus and building backbone links.
Q6. What transmission distances does OM2 support?
Up to 2 km at 100BASE-FX, up to 550 m at 1 GbE (1000BASE-SX), and up to 82 m at 10 GbE (10GBASE-SR) over multimode optics.
Q7. What connector options are available?
LC/UPC duplex is standard. SC, ST and other connector types are available on request. Custom hybrid assemblies (different connectors per end) can also be supplied.
Q8. What are the optical performance specifications?
Insertion loss ≤0.30 dB per connector (typical 0.15–0.25 dB) and return loss ≥20 dB, verified by 100% factory testing. Cable attenuation is ≤3.0 dB/km at 850 nm and ≤1.0 dB/km at 1300 nm.
Q9. What is the cable diameter?
The standard outer jacket is 6.0 mm (PE), with other diameters available upon request.
Q10. What jacket materials can be chosen?
PE (UV-resistant, for outdoor sections) and LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen, for indoor sections). A transition from outdoor PE to indoor LSZH breakout legs can be made per your drawing.
Q11. Is the cable gel-free?
Yes. It uses dry water-blocking tape instead of gel, which keeps termination clean and simplifies breakout and furcation work.
Q12. What is the operating temperature range?
-40 °C to +70 °C, covering typical outdoor and entrance facility environments.
Q13. What cable lengths are available?
Custom lengths are available from 1 m to 500 m per section. We cut, terminate and test to your exact specification.
Q14. Can you customize breakout legs and furcation?
Yes. We can transition the outdoor cable into individual indoor breakout legs with connector boots, length and labeling per your requirements.
Q15. How is polarity handled?
Assemblies are built and tested with correct polarity (Method A/B/C available) to ensure plug-and-play compatibility with your transceivers and patch panels.
Q16. What testing is done before shipment?
100% factory testing: insertion loss, return loss, continuity and polarity. Individual test reports are available on request.
Q17. What is the minimum bend radius?
20× the cable diameter under static conditions and 10× during installation — follow standard cabling practices to protect long-term performance.
Q18. What is the MOQ?
Flexible. Trial orders starting from 10 pieces are welcome, and volume pricing is available for project quantities.
Q19. What is the lead time?
3–7 days for standard lengths; 7–15 days for custom designs, depending on quantity and connector configuration.
Q20. What certifications and packaging do you offer?
ISO 9001, CE and RoHS compliant. Assemblies are individually protected, wound on drums or packed in export cartons with clear labeling — neutral or KEXINT branding available.
