The ConnectX-8 adapter uses the Riding Heat Sink (RHS) with an OSFP connector, where the heat sink rides on top of the cage and is exposed to system fan airflow. This same RHS transceiver is used in liquid-cooled systems to connect GPU/CPU servers to QM3200 switches, meeting the high thermal management demands of modern high-performance computing.
